Where do you go for the latest in nutrition and health information? My favorite way to stay up to date is by listening to podcasts. I listen in my car or while cleaning and cooking. With limited time for reading health books and blogs, listening to podcasts keeps me in the loop.
My top 4 favorite health and nutrition podcasts;
Revolution Health Radio with Chris Kresser

Chris Kresser is one of my favorite health bloggers. He is a licensed acupuncturist that strives to discover the true cause of his patient’s health issues. He somehow also manages to find time to keep up with the latest research in nutrition. I love the integration of real world healing experience with scientific based knowledge that he brings to his podcasts and blog. Some recent topics he explored on his podcasts were; the “gut-skin” axis, autoimmune disease, and digestion.

Some of my favorite UW interviews were; Mark Sisson, Chris Kresser, Robb Wolf, Dr. Thomas Cowan, Gary taubes, Dr. Thomas O’Bryan, Dr. Cate Shanahan, and Sally Fallon. He also just came out with an ebook, The Dark Side of Fat Loss: Lessons from the Underground.

The Paleo Solution Podcast with Robb Wolf

Robb Wolf is the author of The Paleo Solution: The Original Human Diet. He is one of the leading experts on Paleolithic nutrition. In his top-ranking podcast, Robb answers listener submitted questions about nutrition and fitness. His background as a former research biochemist and owner of one of the top gyms in America makes this podcast extremely informative. You’ll also get a few good laughs.
If you’re curious about the Paleo diet, check out his 30 Day Total Transformation eBook. It’s a fabulous intro to the Paleo lifestyle and includes meal plans, exercise routines, and shopping lists.

The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore

Jimmy Moore transformed his health by following a healthy low-carb diet. This made him passionate to share his experience by blogging, writing, and podcasting about low-carb living. This podcast introduced to me to many of my favorite people in the health and nutrition field. It’s hard to pick my favorite interviews, he has over 500 shows. But stay tuned for “encore week” where he brings back favorite guests voted by listeners from the previous year for new interviews. Jimmy has his own list of the top 10 health podcasts every low-carber should be listening to, if you want more suggestions.
